Here at Shalako, we strive to breed a Schipperke that is healthy as well as correct to the Schipperke standard. Our breeding stock is checked for several genetic problems known to occur in the breed, including hips, eyes, thyroid and MPS111B. Our Schipperke puppies are well socialized and insist on a home with a fenced in yard, and "housedog" status.
