Schipperkes are wonderful performance dogs and compete successfully in obedience, agility, rally and herding events. The secret to training a schipperke is to be SMARTER than the dog! ______________ Picking a puppy for competition obedience is just as important as picking a puppy for the show ring. The puppy needs to be sound in mind and body! Schips are bright and easy to train, however, they get bored very easily, so keep the training sessions short, and make it a lot of fun for the dog!
